It´s true! Mingling with the british is always the best option. I wouldn´t recommend to any spaniard to hang around only with spanish speakers.

My best suggestion is to mix with everybody...with spanish as well but using english to communicate. That´s the way. The only way.... - sonia

Hi Emma, yes London can be quite an experience in itself but if you really want to learn english, I would advise you to mingle with the Brits and leave the spaniard aside for a while. Just remember that you do not want to learn spanish, you want to learn english, right ? Mingling with the english or with anyone from abroad is a very interesting multicultural experience and a great chance to improve your vocab and grammar ... - Fabio
